Congratulations you’ve booked your wedding date!

Now is the time to get in touch and check our availability as dates get booked up very quickly - summer dates are often booked a year in advance.

Drop me an email or fill out our contact form to check availability.

Outlined below are the next steps to ordering your wedding cake.

Step 1 - Get in touch

As I offer a bespoke service to every couple, I only take on a limited number of weddings per week, so once you have booked your venue do get in touch to see if I have your date available.

You can either send me an email or get in-touch via the contact form. Please include the date of your wedding, where you are getting married and roughly how many people you are inviting. It’s also really useful for me to know the budget you have to work with, your preferred number of tiers and any key design elements you’d like included.

Step 2 - Secure your date

Once availability is confirmed a £100 non-refundable booking fee will secure your wedding date in my diary (this is redeemable against your final invoice). Unfortunately I can’t hold dates without the booking fee payment.

(If you’re not quite ready to book and would like to taste some of my cakes before you decide, why not order a taster box. Boxes are £30 and can be collected from my kitchen in Berkhamsted, or posted via next day delivery)

Step 3 - Designing your cake

Now to the fun part of designing your cake. I’ll get in touch about 6-9 months before your wedding to book in a suitable time for your consultation.

Your consultation can either be a Zoom call or an in-person meeting. We discuss your wedding day, colours, themes, florals and everything in between! After our discussion I will send over a beautiful sketch to help you visualise your dream cake.

Step 4 - Payment

Your final balance is due eight weeks before your big day, meaning you can relax in the run-up to your wedding and leave everything else to me, including delivery and set up at your venue.

Would you like to find out more?

Feel free to get in touch to order some cake samples, you can check out our range of flavours here.

Drop me an email or fill out our contact form to check availability.

Step 5 - One Week to go

I’ll liaise with your venue to coordinate delivery time and handover notes, and if you are having fresh flowers on your cake I’ll get in touch with your florist to coordinate our arrival times.

We were delighted with our stunning, three tier cake. The attention to detail was exceptional throughout and Sam was a pleasure to work with. The cake suited our theme perfectly and we could not recommend The Little Berko Bakery highly enough, thank you so much!.
