The Little Berko Bakery was born as a tribute to my wonderful mum who used to bake the most amazing cakes for my three sons.

Whatever the occasion, whether their naming days or birthdays, I could always rely on her to pull together an amazing creation. To see their faces light up at each cake she created was a special moment. Sadly, my mum passed away and after trying out some of my own cakes and buying the odd Colin the Caterpillar or two, I knew I had to put on an apron and take mixing matters into my own hands. How hard can this be? I thought. Very hard as it turned out!  So I enrolled on a cake covering course and from that moment I was hooked.

 

Now 10 years later I am happy to bake cakes that would make my Mum proud. Based on traditional recipes with a modern twist, the Little Berko Bakery specialises in a wide range of tasty flavours including lemon, almond & cherry, vanilla and of course the ever popular chocolate.  

 

I take the greatest care and pride in my cakes to ensure every bake that leaves the kitchen is of the highest standard. My mission is to make cakes that make memories.
